Undo PDF Rotation and Return to the Start
When you turn a page the wrong way, Undo removes the last rotation. If you turned several pages with one command, that is undone in one step too. Redo applies the undone step again.
Selecting cards or clearing the selection is not a rotation; it adds no separate step to the undo history. That is why clearing a selection can leave a card’s orientation unchanged.
Returning to the starting view
To remove every turn, use Reset rotation in the secondary menu. This returns the pages to the view the PDF had when you opened it. If a page was already sideways inside the file, resetting does not correct it for you.
What the badge says
The degree badge on a card describes the net change against the starting view. It does not show the orientation the page already had in the file, nor the history of every click. When you turn a page a full circle back to where it started, no orientation change remains on that page.
Your source file stays the same throughout. Save PDF produces a new PDF with the turns as they are at that moment. For what the saved file carries, see what Rotate PDF changes when it saves.
